Match report A thrilling friendly match ended up with Radlett squeezing home with 2 balls to spare in front of a large crowd.
Both teams had a large contingent of RCC boys so there was a lot of pride at stake as habs batted first and scored a defendable 108.The excellent keeping of Nikhil Rawal was a feature of the innings and he executed a stumping and a catch behind.Freddie Wright took 2-8 off 4 overs and also ran out club mate Saul kaye.
Nikhil scored a lovely 30 retired, well supported by Adam with 12.The innings was stalling a bit until Ben Wright came to the crease and hit a rapid 16 including 2 boundaries of Reuben Woolley to get RCC up with the rate.He was then dismissed by George lawrence bowling with real fire for Habs.He ended up with 3 well earned wickets.This brought last man Freddie Wright to the crease.He then proceeded to smash 18 of 9 balls with 4 4's, two off successive balls to seal victory, the first a gloriuous drive back over Reuben's head.
A great match played ion a great spirit.A real showcase for the talent we have at the club.
