Radlett CC Won by 34 runs

Match report Radlett Women produced a stunning fielding performance to record their
first win of the season on Sunday, defeating Purley Redoubtables by 34
runs. A top order collapse left the team teetering at 33-5, but again
Laura, Anya and Michele dug in to rescue the innings and post a score of
88. There were some nerves before we took the field, but a positive
attitude and really tight bowling and fielding reduced the opposition to
12-1. Louise stood firm under a high catch to make the crucial
breakthrough at 40 and from there we took 8 wickets for only 14 runs,
with Sophie returning magnificent figures of 2-2-0-3. The team were
absolutely thrilled with their performance, and we look forward to
making a triumphant return to the top pitch next week!
