This was a disappointing loss for Radlett against arguably the best team in the league. Morgan Stanley opened the bowling positively but Dhylan struggled with his length in his opening expensive over. From then on our bowling was relatively steady though a little short & many runs were scored to leg. Dunstable were steadily accumulating runs & our fielding was not aggressive enough to stem the flow with no hits with our run out attempts & the ball being thrown in too weakly. 179/1 is a good total but Dunstable did not run away with it.
We had a disastrous reply losing Morgan Stanley & Jake Jones for ducks in the 2nd & 3rd balls.
Niki Veale & Neel Malde then looked fairly comfortable until Neel turned down a run & Niki kept running. Dhylan was then also run out & we were 12 for 4. Roshan & Neel then looked fairly comfortable if unable to score & many wides kept the score moving. Roshan was then unfortunately run out off a deflected drive. Neel could not pierce the field & managed 16 before being caught in the 9th over. The Dunstable fielding was extremely positive once again, just as in the final last season.
