Harpenden batted first & got off to a wicket less steady start at a decent rate. A run out by Matt Soffair stemmed the flow but Harpenden regained he initiative until the final over whe Mat Soffair had 3 caught & bowled in 4 balls & could have had 2 more catches. 198-5 was a daunting total.
We started briskly in reply before Neel Malde was crucially run out in a close decision. Another middle order collapse against a spinner meant we were up against it. Parag Shah gritted it out fo 21 at the end but he as bowled in the 9th over.
