Match report Willows opened the batting with the fantastic partnership of Louise Verroken-Jones and Kanchana Morris scoring 54 runs in the first 4 overs. Adrienne McCrea and Anya Vadagama added a further 35 runs losing only 3 wickets in 4 overs. Cat Gale and Emily Grist batted for the final 3 overs with Emily supporting our newest member Cat.

Using the whole bowling strength of the team Willows took 11 wickets – with Emily Grist and Louise Verroken-Jones taking 3 wickets each, Kanchana Morris and Cat Gale 2 wickets and Anya Vadagama 1 wicket keeping the Redbourn batting score very low. Fielding was possibly the biggest strength today - all players did their absolute best and Redbourn certainly felt the pressure.

It was a fantastic win – Well done Willows! This is a great start to our season!
