Match report I must firstly say I did not see much of this match as I had a prior engagement. That is why I asked for help and guess what NONE was forthcoming!!!!

It would appear that captain Ganatra won the toss and batted with Radlett reversing the batting order again. Normal opening bowlers Daniel Cohen and Jack Arrol opened the batting and both retired having hit some lovely cover drives, lazy pulls and superb on drives, (that's what I was told). The boys then decided to hit out and some came off and some didn't but all enjoyed the game. Simon Moses hit 7 in 3 balls faced and Bherav Kakkad hit 13 in 11 balls.

The Shenley openers looked as if they wanted to win in 7 overs and were 23 after 2 overs with Simon Moses bowling Iqbal. Hertfordshire player Nick Smith looked as if he meant business but a silly run our turned the game and Radlett's bowlers hit form and strangled the runs with regular under 13 wicket keeper Anuj Amarshi bowling beautifully and took 1-10. Sahil Shah wanted to better his club record 5-4 but couldn't after he was slapped by the number 7 for a 4. He did end up with 2-8. Sahil loves bowling at Shenley Village as much as Daniel loves bowling at Hertford.

The bowling got tighter and wickets fell with Jack getting a wicket with his leg spin to finish the game off.

Highlight of the match 3 stunning catches:

Anuj with a wonderful swallow dive behind the bowler to catch a very good Lashmal.
Simon Moses with a super sharp slip catch
Bherav Kakkad with a cracker jack which was dropping yet he kept his eyes on it at all times and took it inches off the ground.

A slightly disappointing season ends with 2 victories in friendlies and the hope for better luck next year.
