Abbots Langley Girls v Radlett CC Women's Super 8's on Fri 08 Jul 2005 at 6pm
Radlett CC Won 63 runs

Match report This was a game played in a great spirit and was a good introduction to competetive cricket for several of the girls playing in their first match. The quality of Bob and Shane's coaching was evident against a similarly inexperienced team. We batted first and amassed an enormous total of 327 - 0 against some very mixed bowling. I was particularly pleased to see how many girls really tried to hit every ball however short , wide, or pea-rolling.
Our bowling was very encouraging showing that everyone has a correct basic bowling action to build on for inclusion in next years league side, and the fielding was good as evidenced by 2 runouts.
Well Done!
