Match report Sun came out and stayed sunny against all odds at Woollams playing field. Old Albanians won the toss and chose to field. Sayef and Christian open the bat only to collide with each other while running between the wicket. Christian had to retreat and Ritik joins the party. Another injury in the same over when Sayef shot was bravely stopped by the bowler who stayed on the ground in agony. With all sorts of incidents and a suicidal run out Radlett managed only 6 runs of the first pair.
Harry and Adi come in and bat against some good bowling attack and get us to 223 with some good quick runs and taking advantage of mis-field coupled with overthrows.
Christian gets enough treatment and this time joins with Neer - manage 7 runs, Neer hitting the only boundary of the Radlett innings.
Mihir and Dylan come in as last pair scoring 15 runs but losing 3 wickets leaving Radlett a mere 230 runs to defend.

Quick chat to regroup the lads and we are back in the field in view to bag all the points on offer. Harry and Adi open the bowling attack and bowl 2 overs each in tandem. No luck and we are on the back foot conceding 17 runs in the first 4 overs.
A mix of 4 different bowlers for the 2nd pair - Christian, Sayef, Mihir and Ritik conceding 6, 4, 4 and 5 respectively, again with no luck and the opposition are running away with the game.
A glimpse of hope during the 3rd pair - Neer hits the woodwork and an exuberant Christian managed an outstanding stumping to rattle the opposition run chase.
During the 4th pair - Adi, Harry, Neer and Christian tried to get a few more wickets but only Neer managing 1 wicket leaves us well short and presents the win to our opponent yet again.

Our fielding was excellent and the bowling was tight and accurate, but we need to perform lot more with the bat and improve running between the wickets. The team have got some talent and working hard will yield a winning result.
