Radlett CC U11 v Shenley Village on Tue 22 Jun 2010 at 6.00
Radlett CC Won by 96 runs

Match report A very impressive performance albeit against a Shenley side missing key players saw the boys post a 96 run victory on a perfect summer's evening. Batting first George and Ben put on 40 for the first wicket, dealing very well with the opening salvos from Shenley. George was unlucky to be caught for 20 but Saul continued the run fest. Ben departed for a well made 25 before a quick fire 19 from Sam took the score into 3 figures and beyond. Freddie (20 not out) then joined Saul in pushing on to an extremely impressive total, with Saul eventually retiring for an undefeated 30.

Radlett then demonstrated a professional approach in the field and the bowling proved too much for the Shenley boys. All 9 bowlers used performed well but the pick was Aneesh who removed 4 of the top order in his 3 overs. The fielding was excellent early on with the only area for improvement being a tendency for some players to wander from where they were positioned, particularly if they felt out of touch on the boundary.

A fine all round performance though.
