Match report A good start to the season with all four main seamers used bowling steadily. It was noted that Aman must have wintered well because he now bowls at a pace rarely seen at U 12 level. With one exception the Leverstock batsmen found scoring difficult on a wicket that had good carry and bounce. In reply Alex and Jack batted confidently, putting away the bad ball with considerable skill, an opening partnership of over 50 ensured that we reached the target with a number of overs to spare.
There will be tougher games ahead and we will need to improve the wides and no balls tally.
The squad have much to look forward to this season.
