Match report What a game
Radlett lost the toss and bowled first. On a flat wicket with a small boundary shenley batted sensibly scoring at a steady pace. The bad ball was hit to the boundary and the total soon reached 124. Despite Guys best efforts, the heads of the Radlett fielders were low and the usual buzz in the field was lacking.
We rallied at the change over and agreed to try and mirror the way Shenley had batted. Jonathan and Yiaanis batted really well against some good bowling. They both retired out ,but had given the innings a great foundation and had given the rest of the team the confidence to try and win the game. In gathering gloom everyone played their part in bringing the scores closer, meaning 6 runs were needed off the last over. In a tense exciting final over we needed 1 run off the final ball for victory. An excellent catch off the final ball denied us victory and meant the game was drawn. A credit to all 22 players.

HAVE JUST BEEN ADVISED AS WE LOST MORE WICKETS , WE UNFORTUNATELY LOST THE GAME. SHAME BUT STILL A GREAT GAME. ANDREW
