Match report On a glorious Summer’s evening, most of the Radlett team arrived just in time not to forfeit the match, promptly won the toss and elected to Bat.

Radlett’s young openers Ameer Kamal (17) and Hemal Malde (26) made a great start, reaching 52 after 8 overs. Both openers were retired to allow ‘big hitters’ to push the score along.
The plan ‘sort of’ worked with Kailash Morjaria (11), Rob Watson (12) and Morgan Stanley (14) scoring quickly but then getting out as each looked set to let loose. However, it wasn’t until Ross Pincus (28 n.o.) opened his shoulders late on, with some great strokes, that the score climbed to a healthy 147 in 20 overs.

Kings Langley bowlers bowled with some consistency, allowing them to take regular wickets.

Radlett opened the bowling attack with young Jai Shah (3-1-5-1) who bowled an excellent line. The fielding was also of a high standard. In particular, Rob Watson took care of the sloping side of the field and saved a number of potential boundaries. His long returns were a joy to watch.

Kieran Collopy (3-0-11-2) and Parag Shah (4-0-11-1) also bowled with accuracy and were justly rewarded.

Later in the innings, Ross Pincus was once again on the scene, taking a stunning catch, off a well driven hard and low shot to mid-off.

Kings Langley could only manage 90 in their 20 overs. And so, it was another great team performance by Radlett U15s fielding 6 under 14s.
