Chorleywood were early arrivals and were well into their warm-ups as Radlett players drifted in. It was a sunny but chilly morning.

Chorleywood batted first. The opening pair of Smithson and Stwart made a promising but slow start with tight bowling from Parag Shah (1 for 5 of 4 overs) and Kieran Collopy keeping the score to 20 off 7 overs. In the end, the away team reached 75 with one player short. Pick of Chorleywood batsmen were, Ryan (16) scoring 15 off one over and Smithson (19).

In reply, Radlett’s opening pair of Matt Soffair (35) and Ameer Kamal (18) continued where they left from previous match, with Soffair hitting 5 boundaries in a partnership of 59. Radlett went on to an easy win with 3 overs to spare.

In the final analysis, it was a fine performance from a promising young Radlett team, admirably led by Matt Soffair and well supported by senior players; Morgan Stanley, Parag Shah, and Kieren Collopy.
