Match report Sunday’s victory over Knebworth was achieved without 4 key players and also ensured Radlett reached the quarter finals of the Becker Transport Cup. The first time the club has achieved this in the competitions current guise.

The win was set up by some powerful hitting from Jim Chaudry (57), Matt Cousens (54), Jon Freedman (42) and Nick Fielden (36). The total of 260 was too much for Knebworth who were bowled out for 171.

The key moment of the game followed a wonder catch to dismiss Chaudry. At 170 – 6 Radlett could have struggled to post a reasonable score but sensible batting by Cousens & Robert Crocker ensured Radlett reached a score which their bowlers knew they could defend
