Match report Making an early start (10am after K's birthday drinks!)Radlett Willows opened the batting nervously, scoring off the walls when possible until Hayley arrol smashed the ball for 6 twice to recapture her usual form and taking full advantage of wide balls to score addtional runs. HA & KG finished their 4 overs partnership with 56 runs. Sue Benson and Harriet Stone batted next and added an incredible 65 runs, Sue Benson top scoring with 42 runs. Louise Penny and Amie Nichols finished off the final three overs with the loss of three wickets (= -15runs) adding just 19 runs and 8 extras. Lessons were learned! With a total of 234 runs Radlett Willows were in a strong position, providing their bowling was on target.
Ickenham batsmen were not able to score many runs in double figures. Wides constituted 30 of the runs scored. Low scoring overs were bowled by Hayley Arrol, Kanchana Gamage and Amie Nichols. Excellent fielding by Harriet Stone stopped several long balls going for 56,narrowly missing a catch but stopping a certain long run. Sue Benson took a hat trick of wickets and matched it with 3 wides to complete the over!

Overall a good win, hairy at times!
