Match report A superb performance with both bat and ball demonstrated why Radlett Stumpies are top of the league. Batting first opening partnership of LVJ & LB put on 76 runs (4 overs) despite some inconsistent bowling making the scoring of runs off the bat difficult. Runs were stolen at every opportunit. Second pairing of GD (making her indoor debut) and LG added a further 45 runs in 4 overs. Final pairing KC (making a welcome return to indoor cricket after the birth of her baby, Honour) and PH added 35 runs on 3 overs to achieve 256 runs in total.

Bowling was superb with wickets regularly falling through skillful bowling and superb fielding. Only an occasional panic showed Stumpies were vulnerable to reaction rather than logic. Runs were in single figures for all eleven overs. The middle pair lost 8 wickets and reduced the overall score by -22 runs. Gerry Davies took 5 wickets , 3 in one over, Lorna Browne 3 wickets in one over and Piya Haria 2 wickets including a confident low scoring last over in which one wicket fell and the final pairing for Hemel managed to add just 1 run to their total.
