Match report RADLETT went to Welwyn Garden City on Saturday and were guided to victory by a fine innings from vice captain Graham Dill.

The home team won the toss but were immediately opposed by Radlett star bowler Stuart Browne who bowled tightly and was aided at the other end by South African Shane Burger. Welwyn struggled to 20-4 as wickets fell and Jackson ousted Skeggs with a fine delivery.

Welwyn began to force their way back into the match with some steady batting before lunch but with the last ball Dill bounced out Molyneaux.

After the break Radlett kept the momentum and White was run out by Hegarty before Burger finished the innings with two yorkers as he showed some of his best form with the ball. WGC finished on 159-10.

In reply Graham Dill and Nick Fielden got Radlett off to a fluent start and Shane Burger at number four then added a good contribution. Dill played his sweep-shot well as he rattled up a solid 64 while Hutchings provided the fireworks, smashing the ball around the ground to seal an early victory for Radlett on 160-4. The game was played in good spirits as Radlett maintain their challenge near the top of the Division.
