Match report Ironically we fielded maybe our strongest team of the season against Bushey who are improving but no match for the firepower we had at our disposal tonight.
The boys were instructed to bat positively.We should be looking to score 120 minimum every game so the instruction was no prodding or blocking.Largely this order was followed save for a bizarre decision by Giles to pad one away in the penultimate over.He made up for it though with the shot of the night-a square drive for 6!
There was some carelss batting-Will and Rohan will not be happy with the shots that saw them caught.Joe, Harry and Simeon put the bad ball away well and Elias showed intent on opening the innings.A word for Jaimin and Luke,both unluckily run out.Fior jaimin that was his second dismissal against Bushey without facing a ball.Never mind,I'm sure he'll make them pay next year.
The bowling was ferocious-particularly Luke who has his radar functioning and was lightening quick.Three clean bowled.Jowe picked up two in an over and Will and Simeon also got two each.It was all finished in the 11th over which was a shame as we had a lot of bowlers to come.
Everyone batted or bowled except poor old Ben.Thanks for coming!
