Teas with reputation - our band of 36 ladies produce some of the finest in the county - but we do need more volunteers. We have an extensive kitchen facility and the ladies also provide lunches for 1st XI matches.
Facilities at Cobden Hill - magnificent cedarwood balconied pavilion overlooking a top-class pitch and electronic scorebox which attracts county and touring sides. A second adjacent pitch with it's own changing rooms and scorebox. We have some of the newest outdoor nets in the county. We hosted the 1993 Australians in a one-day match - Shane Warne's first on English soil. CLICK HERE for more on our training facilities.
You can hire our facilities for just about any function you care to mention. Arrange that special cricket match or corporate cricket match - have your daughter's 18th party in our friendly pavilion and bar with full catering facilites - why not a celebration lunch for your parent's golden wedding anniversary - or even run a corporate training session or a new product launch in that slightly different environment. With our proximity to London, good rail links, only a few miles from the M1 and the M25, we have not only an ideal facility but also an ideal location.
Radlett won the Hertfordshire League five times from 1989 before becoming a founder member of the Home Counties Premier Cricket League in 2000. After relegation from Division 1 following 5 seasons at the top, we spent two seasons in Division Two East and are are now back in the top flight for 2007. The Home Counties Premier league is now sponsored by sports firm Sommers UK and the Hertfordshire league by Saracens.
Our most eminent 1st Class players - Douglas Jardine, Donald and John Carr, Richard Hutton, Doug Yeabsley and Dave Houghton - they've all played for Radlett as amateurs.
We always need more players - men, ladies, young players (boys and girls) - everyone is guaranteed a warm welcome. And don't forget, you can also join as a social member or even as a family - come and join the serious, the fun and the family atmosphere that is - Radlett Cricket.
